The half-marathon Göteborgsvarvet has more than 200 000 spectators.

A bystander

Göteborgsvarvet offers many opportunities for interesting photos of its spectators.

This photo was taken 20130518 by Magnus L Andersson in Lindholmen (Gothenburg/Västra Götaland County, Sweden) using a Leica M Monochrom (M9) with a Leica Summilux-M 35 mm f/1.4 ASPH.

I like the composition and the distance between the spectators and the runners which bring some depth to the image.

Camera: Leica M Monochrom (M9) (Leica)

Lens: Leica Summilux-M 35 mm f/1.4 ASPH (Leica)

Filter:  No

Medium: Memory Card Panasonic SDHC 16GB Gold Pro (Panasonic)

Flash: No

Scanner: No

Shutter speed: 1/1500 sec

Focal length: 35 mm

Aperture: f/8

Exposure bias: EV 0

ISO rating: 400

In this case, I maxed out on neither the aperture or ISO, most probably due to the weather and choice of lens.

Yet again I went for the favorite of combining an automatic toning (Exposure +0.03, Contrast +6, Highlights -87, Shadows +61, Whites +14 and Blacks -24) with the Polaroid 665 Negative HC (Affinity) film emulation. The latter provides interestingly a substantial punch to the image in comparison to only applying the toning.
